The Black Boy Inn is situated within the historic town walls of Caernarfon. Caernarfon is a market town with an open air market every Saturday (Mondays also in Summer). The Inn is within easy walking distance to the town centre, and the famous 13th century Castle. An old Inn dating back to 1522, some of its load bearing walls measure on average 1.2 to 1.5 meters thick (four to five feet thick) and with its wooden paneling, low ceilings, and thick wooden support beams generates a cosy 'Olde Worlde' atmosphere.

The Stables Hotel Restaurant is situated in the original stable block which was converted in the 1960's. Built in the early 1970s, the hotel accommodation is on ground level, making access easy. The 21 tastefully furnished bedrooms are all en- suite with full facilities. The hotel also has a lounge bar adjoining the restaurant in which you can relax and enjoy a drink or two before your meal.
