Also within walking distance are Ayr Racecourse, Gaiety Theatre, seafront and the Scottish Bowling Centre. Turas-Mara is only 10 minutes by road from Burns Cottage, Burns Heritage Centre, Brig o'Doon and Alloway Auld Kirk.
