The hotel is also just a short walk from the train station at the bottom of the hill (approximately 3 minutes). Originally 3 Edwardian houses built for local sea captains with the Hain Shipping Company, Chy-an-Albany was converted to a hotel in the 1920s. The hotel has been tastefully refurbished retaining much of the charm of the original building.
