King Street hotel was built as a Vicarage in the early 1800's and later became the Water Rates Office for Maidstone and its surrounding villages. It was purchased privately in 1997 and restored to its former glory as a grand old house and providing first class accommodation. The hotel is family run and offers a warm and friendly service. Since the hotel is in a listed building, unfortunately we do not have a lift.
