Built in 1917 and fully-renovated in 2006, this hotel is full of history and located in beautiful mountain surroundings overlooked by a rocky outcrop capped by a ruined Moorish castle. It has been carefully restored as to keep the style from years gone by and the charm that attracted many famous faces including Federico Garcia Lorca. A hotel situated in Lanjaron, an attractive spa town conveniently located between Granada (45 km) and its coast (40 km) and just over an hours drive to Sierra Nevada. Built as a hotel in 1941 it was the first hotel in this area. Back in 1995 it underwent a total refurbishment, updating its facilities and services.
