Hotel Galicja   (Town: Oswiecim)
Hotel: Hotel Galicja
Rooms from: £39
The hotel is a remodeled, original 19th century post station. We do our best and will go the extra mile to create the most comfortable and welcoming hotel in the whole region. Our hotel is associated with a warm homely atmosphere rather than a typical uniform and minimalist one, which is a common practice in the industry. At your disposal, we have 32 extraordinary rooms (including 5 suites, located in the oldest wing of the building), 2 restaurants, a pub, a hotel club room, and an open air barbecue hut. The hotel is situated on the main street of the city (very good access from all directions), 4 kilometres from the National Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau. Monitored parking is available for hotel guests 24 hours, as well as a garage for bicycles and motorbikes. We are proud of our previous guests, including Jacques Chirac and the Dutch Royal Family (Prince Willem-Alexander with Princess Maxima), Carla del Ponte and many more.

Hotel Wawel   (Town: Oswiecim)
Hotel: Hotel Wawel
Rooms from: £52
The 'Wawel-Tourist' Hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town of Cracow, the former capital of Poland, close to the most attractive districts of the city. The \Wawel-Tourist\" Hotel enjoys a rich history. It is located at Poselska Street No 22. At the very beginning of the nineteenth century, the hotel was known as Anthony s and Margaret s Hondurkiewicz \""Pod Czarnym OrBem\"" inn. After the fire in 1850 it was rebuilt by the new owner - Katherine Romerowa, and also it gained the new name - \""National Hotel\"". It lasted like that until the twentieth century. Still you will find some fragments of period decorations: the glass roof above the reception hall entrance, the stairs with the iron balustrade and a few more details connected with the old-time decoration. The hotel has become a private property since April 1995. It continues the tradition of the old-time inn, offering professional, quick and discreet service and also an unforgettable, homely atmosphere."""
