The country house Rodrigo de Vivar is divided into the Medieval Burg of Ostia Antica behind the old castle of Pope Giulio II della Rovere and inside its Roman Country splendid Princes Aldobrandini s estate, close to the archaeological excavations of Ostia Antica. It welcomes its guests in a wonderful, exquisite and silent place, where they can have beautiful walks and excursions even to the shore of the Tiber river. Our guests are invited to take part in the life of the Haflinger horses stud farm. We organise several courses like: Riding for beginners, archery, painting, ceramics, restoration, traditional cuisine lessons and birdwatching. Rodrigo de Vivar enjoys a good position because is only 4.5 km from Fiumicino Airport, 20 mt by subway from the centre of Rome, 5 mt by car or by subway from Roman seaside. Subway station is 200 mt from our reception located in the Medieval Burg. We also organise meeting and party for weddings in our 2nd restaurant.
