From Marco Polo International Airport, Santa Lucia Train Station, and from Cruise Ship Harbour:
- By pre-arranged transfer: private service organised at the hotel reception desk, which includes porter assistance and transfer by water boat. Travelling time varies from 30 to 50 minutes. It is charged directly to the hotel bill. Full flight and train or ship arrival details are required.
- By regular water taxi: service available 24 hours. Payment in cash to the taxi-boat driver.
At Marco Polo Airport, for assistance please refer to the Starwood Welcome Desk, located on the far left-hand site of the arrival hall. When the Starwood desk is closed please contact the Taxi Desk located nearby.
- By regular car taxi service (only from Marco Polo Airport) to Venice Piazzale Roma, available 24 hours in front of the terminal arrivals halls.
- By public transportation: from the airport pier, boat service Alilaguna runs to St. Mark's Square or bus service ATVO departing from the bus terminal in front of the airport arrivals hall. From Venice Santa Lucia railway station, ACTV waterbus No. 1 to Santa Maria del Giglio stop (only 5 minutes from Hotel Gritti Palace).
By Car:
From A4 Highway:
- Exit the highways at Venezia and follow the state road signs to Venezia.
- Cross the Liberty Bridge (approximately 4 km long).
- Proceed straight on at the traffic lights to car parking facilities at Piazzale Roma. For valet parking assistance, refer to the Hertz - Mattiazzo Agency Office located at ground level under the Garage Comunale.
From Piazzale Roma (Venice car terminal):
- By regular water taxi: service available 24 hours. Payment in cash to the taxi-boat driver.
- By public transportation: ACTV waterbus No. 1 to Santa Maria del Giglio stop (only 5 minutes from Hotel Gritti Palace).
