Villa La Malva

Facing one of the most beautiful valleys crossed by the Arno River towards the Tirrhenian Sea, only 15 km from Florence, the hotel is located on the eastern part of the Artimino hill.

A small hotel, recently completed, strictly built in Tuscan style. The hotel, run by an Italian-Swedish couple, offers a familiar and friendly atmosphere that guarantees our clients a careful, personalized service.

New this year: dinner with a view, served on our panoramic terrace.
The hotel is located between Signa and Artimino, on the top of one of the so characteristic, Tuscan hills facing the Arno valley. From the hotel, from almost all our rooms and especially from our big roof terrace crowning the hotel, one has a breathtaking view of the valley. Our reception, breakfast room and bar are located on the top, where huge windows facing in all directions welcome in the morning sun when it rises above the hills and they give our guests the possibility to see the entire valley underneath, the surrounding hills with cypresses and pines, Poggio alla Malva with its white and yellow houses gathered close together and the bell tower of the Santo Stefano church.
Local wine, grappa, Vin Santo and home made marmellade (made by "Il Portico", Poggio alla Malva) are on sale at our front desk.

The Arno river is slowly floating through the valley underneath, finding its way towards the Tirrhenian Sea.
The hotel has just recently been completed, trying to maintain traditional, Florentine colours and material, such as stone for doorsteps and stairs and chestnut beams for the ceiling.

Our bar/breakfast room has recently been equipped with a widescreen TV LCD HD.

The hotel disposes of a beautiful apartment (approx. 65mq) for 4-5 persons too, complete with combined living room/kitchen, a big bedroom, bathroom with bathtub and with the possibility to sit outside.
