Quinta do Caracol

The Quinta do Caracol exists since 1680. It is an oasis in the Algarve, an indeed charming place. Here, everyone is received in a familiar, comfortable and peaceful environment.

Before it opened its doors to guests, Quinta do Caracol was a country farm where olives and almonds were produced. Nowadays, the Quinta consists of seven houses with the traditional architecture of the Algarve and with an original and welcoming decoration inside.
The apartments consist of little houses with the traditional architecture of the Algarve and all have names of flowers, such as "Amor Perfeito" or "Aloendro". The houses are separated from each other either by terraces with flowers, courtyards or stairs. The large and original garden has exotic plants, fruit trees, three little lakes with frogs and water-lilies and a fountain.
