- From the M5, exit junction 23 Bridgwater, following the A39 towards Minehead and through Porlock along the coast to Lynmouth.
- Or, exit junction 27 towards Tiverton, following the A361 to South Molton, the A399 to Blackmore Gate, and the A39 to Lynmouth.
- Shelley's is situated at the main road junction in the centre of the village, next to Glen Lyn Gorge and overlooking Lynmouth Bay.
- Please unload luggage at the drop-off point in front of Shelley's before parking.

Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway
A water-powered funicular railway with 2 cars joined by cable. River water feeds the upper car, each car has a 700 Gallon tank mounted underneath, and water is discharged from the lower car until the heavier top car begins to descend.
Glen Lyn Gorge
Designated a site of Special Scientific Interest Glen Lyn Gorge is the steepest of the two river valleys flowing into the picturesque village of Lynmouth. Part of the riverflow is used to power hydro electric turbines.
