Taff Trail
The Taff Trail long-distance footpath links Cardiff to Brecon. The route follows the Taff valley using old railway lines, canals and forestry paths via Llandaff, Pontypridd and Merthyr Tydfil, ending up at the Brecon Beacons.

Brecon Beacons National Park
Pen Y Fan is the highest peak in South Wales and the summit provides spectacular views across the rugged countryside. This is a must for walkers and ramblers. The Waterfalls at Ystradfellte are in a particularly beautiful area and are not to be missed.
