By Car:
- Leave the M6 at Junction 40 (Penrith).
- Take the 1st exit (if traveling Northound from London etc.), or the 4th exit (if travelling Southbound from Scotland), signposted Keswick.
- Follow the road until you reach the roundabout at the Rheghed Centre Services.
- Take the 3rd exit onto the A66, signposted Keswick, Workington.
- Continue to travel along the A66 enjoying some amazing scenery for approximately 48 km/ 30 miles until you see a signpost directing you to the Castle Inn.
- The ‘Castle Inn' sign will direct you to turn right.
- After this you should turn immediately right again passing a number of B&Bs on your left-hand side.
- Stay on this road until you come to a junction.
- Turn right at the junction and cross the bridge and follow the road until you reach the Castle Inn, which is at the very end of this road, on your left-hand side.
