This 17th century Cotswold coaching inn overlooking the rolling countryside continues to enhance its reputation for good food in a relaxed, traditional setting.

Now under the direction of chef/Proprietor Matthew Sharp and his wife Heather, the inn has been in the Sharp family for over 20 years. Matthew is a classically trained chef and has worked in some of the best London hotels. He puts together a daily changing menu that takes advantage of local produce. The inn also specialises in fish and shellfish, all sourced in Brixham.

The 10 en suite double and twin rooms (including a lovely four poster room) are all different and boast pleasant views.

The Inn is ideally situated between Oxford and Cheltenham, and just to the west of Buford; the gateway to the Cotswolds. Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Norton are all very close and well worth a visit.
