The Fosshotel Baron’s ultra modern metal clad façade houses a warm and inviting heart.
Situated in one of Europe’s hot spots this tourist class hotel affords guests the chance to choose from either historical or more modern decorated rooms.
The traditional rooms have been decorated in turn of the century style, inspired by the French Baron that once lived in the building. The newer rooms, from 2002, are elegantly decorated and offer stunning city and ocean views.
The Fosshotel Baron’s quiet and peaceful location is just a stone‘s throw from Reykjavik's vibrant and dynamic nightlife, the famous shopping street Laugavegur and close to the scenic waterfront promenade. The Baron provides guests with the opportunity to explore the multitude of recreational activities nearby, including whale watching, midnight golfing and elf spotting tours.
Recently opened, the Restaurant Grytan offers unique cuisine inspired by the eastern cooking style called shabu shabu. The Bar is open daily. All guests receive complimentary breakfast, Internet access and complimentary parking.
