Archeological Museum
Henri Ciriani designed the museum as a huge equilateral triangle symbolizing the three functions of a museum : preservation, display and education about our archeological heritage.

Alyscamps
In October 1888 Van Gogh came here with Paul Gauguin to paint the path. His paintings had no historical meaning : 'I did two studies of falling leaves on a path lined with poplars', wrote the artist. The paintings simply represent a fall scene.
