The House, built originally as a Sporting Lodge in the early 1800s, derives its name from the Earl of Zetland, a frequent visitor in the last century. From the main reception rooms and bedrooms, you look over gardens rich in flowers, shrubs and trees, sweeping down to Cashel Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Activities: The Connemara Golf Club located at Ballyconneely is one of the most challenging links courses in the West. Game Fishing - We will be happy to organise fishing, guides and equipment for you on local Salmon and Trout fisheries. This is best booked in advance. Sea Angling - The Celtic Queen sails from Clifden Bay and is licensed to carry 14 fishermen, beginners are welcome as well as seasoned anglers. Guided Walks - At Connemara National Park guided walks are organised on a daily basis and are very interesting. We can organise bicycle hire for you and bikes can be picked up at the Hotel if requested. The Hotel has its own hard court, croquet lawn and snooker table.

Cill Aodain Hotel is located in a historical and cultural village. Historic Kiltimagh, a typical rural village nestled in the heart of County Mayo, is the setting for the Cill Aodain. The Cill Aodain has been recently refurbished and its candle lit dining room specialises in continental and country cuisine with the best of local produce served with flair and imagination. The bar is friendly and intimate with panelled lounges and open fires. Kiltimagh offers visitors a variety of activities, including the Sculpture Park, Artist's Retreat, village museum and children's fun park. The Rock Glen Country House Hotel is a beautiful hotel positioned on the coast. We are situated on Ardbear Bay, just south of Clifden, on the west coast of Ireland. Originally built in 1815 as a hunting lodge, the Hotel has an unrivalled view of the Twelve Bens mountain range as you look over Ardbear Bay - the perfect location to get away from it all. The 27 bedrooms all have en-suite facilities, 14 of which are on the ground floor. Each room has a tv, radio, trouser press, hair-dryer and direct dial telephone.
